Katakuriko
Also known as potato starch. It is used to thicken soups or dust ingredients for deep-frying.
Kecap Manis
Kecap manis is a sweet, thick soy sauce made with palm sugar and seasoned with star anise and garlic. A popular tool amongst Indonesian cooks, it can be used as a dip. Some people like to substitute it for dark soy sauce in recipes.
